Another Monday
ok so I havent posted in awhile. Been kind of cranky so didn't want to spread my crankiness. But hey who wouldn't be cranky on steroids, IV vancamycin, Iv rocephrin, with awful pain, not able to walk well or very far, and enjoying the lovely effects of being a woman and on antibiotics(ie the nastiest yeast infection that it is all over, having like the five week period etc). Does the stupid ID doc understand? Nope. And my great family doctor is trying everything she can think of. sometimes i just want to scream. And most people just don't get it..don't get the chronic pain, the chronic fatigue, the tiredness of being sick. All I want is to be able to walk without practically dragging my right leg at times, being able to just take a long shower or bath without having to wrap my arm up, to just be normal. Anyway I am watching this show called Platinum Weddings and there is one couple having a 50 person gospel choir, two after parties for after the reception, and bison for the main dish. Thats what Katie should have lol. Seriously Katie, I am praying for you. And KD if you don't send some of that food this way, I may have to come up there and beat you lol. have a great nght. hey and how do I link to the sites I visit a lot?

welcome
Ok now that I have gotten my vent out of the system. Welcome to my blog where I can talk more about things other than health and well health at times too I guess. Not sure where to start other than famly can be a pain in the &T(&%&(% at times while people you barely know very helpful...ok that is messed up. My mom complains about others in the family not having their house unpacked when others have been working, been sick etc but we should all be up there helping her pack and unpack..ahh hello=retired, plenty of free time...
Then she launches into the oh I am sure having a major joint x3 infection that has been brewing for 2 mths with nothing being done about it, esp when all the joints inolve sitting, walking etc hurt but you shouldn't be taking pain medicine..I have seen too many people get addicted. Ok take no pain meds-very, grumpy in pain me not able to move which is not productive and risky while mannaged pain= productivity...the stupid hospital pain management things tell you the risks of becoming addicted are small.
Hppy birthday to Mandy in the pink room and belated birthday to Ms. Kim who is lucky Humerto didn't want to wish her a happy birthday..but Happy belated Kim!!!!

Randleman is still waiting for action from the Piedmont Triad Regional Water Authority (PTRWA) Board to help the city solve its water problems. That help was not forthcoming Tuesday as PTRWA members decided to give High Point a little more time to consider its role in the authority. That wasn’t the news Randleman City Manager Tony Sears wanted to hear. Randleman has been purchasing very expensive water from Asheboro since Aug. 1. Randleman had to close its 1930s water treatment plant because of algae and manganese contamination brought on by the drought.“This is the third time in history that Randleman has had a similar (water) issue,” he said after the meeting. “In its current water situation, the city is experiencing an extreme financial hardship that will cause Randleman to take an independent look at today’s situation.”That may include resuming negotiations with Asheboro for a more long-term solution to Randleman’s water woes.
With the closure of the city’s water treatment plant, Randleman officials had hoped the authority would decide to move ahead with plans to construct a water line along U.S. 311. The construction of that water line has been tied to the construction of a water treatment plant on Randleman Lake. The impasse includes High Point city officials’ reluctance to sign on to a proposed joint governmental agreement that would codify the distribution of water from Randleman Lake and set up a debt agreement for the six governments involved in the construction of the water treatment facility. At Tuesday’s meeting, Archdale representative Lewis Dorsett complicated matters further for Randleman when he told the board that his city council had to borrow a lot of money to build a water line from High Point to U.S. 311. The line is part of the infrastructure that will eventually connect High Point, Archdale and Randleman to Randleman Lake.Earlier this year, the authority proposed construction of another section of the U.S. 311 water line so that High Point could sell water to Randleman until the city could buy treated water from Randleman Lake.
Dorsett said since Archdale had shouldered significant debt, it needs to be able to recoup some of that investment if High Point expects to get paid to sell water to Randleman.“Our council can’t let High Point sell water through that line unless High Point agrees to pay on the debt service for it,” he said. All the authority members at Tuesday’s meeting indicated they wanted to help Randleman’s citizens. Many of them, including Randolph County Commissioner Darrell Frye expressed frustration with what he called High Point’s delay tactics. High Point officials have indicated in the past that it is not in the city’s interest to assume debt today on a water project that they will not need until roughly 2015.Frye urged members to move ahead, with or without High Point, arguing that if High Point didn’t want or need to be involved at this stage, it could negotiate for its share of the water at a later date.Although Randleman’s situation is most dire, Archdale, Guilford County and Jamestown need water as soon as possible. Frye said it is unfair to let High Point “lolly-gag” around and do what it wants to at the expense of the other members.“Their politics is to take advantage of the drought to squeeze the rest of us,” he said. The authority board decided to give High Point attorneys until next week to review the proposed agreement, decide what High Point’s role in the project might be or make a counter offer.PTRWA Chair John Forbis suggested the board could call an emergency meeting to make a decision before October as to its next move. The board would normally meet again on Oct. 9. However, Forbis said earlier action would be in order.“I don’t intend to let this go on until Oct. 9,” he said.
